How to create 3x2 promotions

This manual details how to configure a 3x2 type promotion in the booking engine. 

This functionality will allow you to discount the amount of one night of the stay, choosing between:

• Discount the cheapest night of the stay. 
• Discount the most expensive night of the stay. 
• Discount the last night of the stay.  

To configure this type of promotion, you must go to Inventory > Featured / Promotions > Create new and configure the usual promotion fields. (How to create a promotion?)

Once the generic promotion parameters (name, description, restrictions...) are defined, ) you must select in  Typology the field Gift night/s (e.g. 3x2).

• Discount from 1 to 3 nights out of every X nights of stay: Indicate the number of nights from which one night of the stay will be discounted.
  Example: Discounting 1 out of every 3 nights is equivalent to a 3x2. 
  
  
• Type: Define the type of discount, being able to discount the cheapest, the most expensive, or the last night of the stay. 
  
  
• Repeat: Select this option when the discount can be accumulated within the same stay.
  Example: discounting one out of every 3 nights (3x2) along with the repeat option will allow the discount to be applied twice for stays of 6 days (6x4). 

Icon:

Unlike other promotions, an icon will be displayed in the booking engine's front end instead of the defined discount percentage. By default, the icon  is displayed, but you can select any from the list.
