With the "reservation without a card" option, the customer can make a reservation through the booking engine without needing to use a credit card.
Steps to Configure the "Reservation Without a Card" Option:
To enable this payment method, follow these steps:
- Go to: Parameterization → Payment Methods → Reservation Without a Card → Edit.
- Complete the following fields if specific conditions apply:
- Minimum Advance Notice (hours): The minimum time before check-in that the system allows reservations without a card.
- Maximum Advance Notice (hours): The maximum time before check-in that the system allows reservations without a card.
- Device Type: You can filter this payment method to apply only to selected devices.
Assigning the Payment Method:
To activate this option, it must be assigned to the corresponding condition:
- Go to: Inventory → Define Inventory → Conditions → Edit → Payment Methods.
- Select: "Reservation Without a Card".
This payment method is compatible with other payment methods.
When a reservation without a card is made, it will be displayed under Reservations → List, and the payment column will show the abbreviation "NO CARD".
