All Available Payment Methods in the Booking Engine

Modified on Tue, 18 Mar at 4:32 PM

At Witbooking, our mission (or rather, our obsession) is to achieve the highest conversion rate in the booking process.

In this booking experience, the ‘moment of truth’ is the payment step—whether it’s paying for a "non-refundable" rate, a deposit, or providing card details as a guarantee.

It is essential that all customers, whether domestic or international, find the payment methods they are accustomed to, and that the process is as simple and intuitive as possible.

At Witbooking, we remind you that we do not charge any fees for the payment methods you use. You will only incur the costs charged by your bank or the selected payment gateway.

Payment Moments

? Providing card details as a guarantee

- It will be necessary to contact the customer again to authorize charges before arrival or in case of a no-show (via an email with a payment link).

? Authenticating the card for future secure charges

- Charges can be processed directly before arrival or in case of a no-show, without bothering the customer.

? Charging directly through the booking engine

- Used for non-refundable rates and deposits.

Available Payment Methods

Booking without a card, without guarantee, and payment at the establishment

Bank transfer directly to the establishment.

Virtual POS terminal (Redsys)

- Contracted with the bank, with credentials configured in the booking engine's Back Office.

PayPal

- Online payment platform that allows secure money transfers without sharing financial information with third parties.

Payment gateways:

- Stripe

- Paynopain

- Addon Payments (La Caixa)

- Paycomet (Banco Sabadell)

- Adyen

- Freedompay

Installment Payments: Nemuru

- Offer your customers the possibility to finance their reservations through a single application process, connecting with multiple installment payment providers.

Express Payment

- With Stripe’s gateway, the card is tokenized at the time of booking, and alternative payment methods such as Google Pay and Apple Pay allow for one-click payments.

Deferred Payment

- This process blocks inventory and prices, sending them to the guest as a pending confirmation booking email.

- If the guest does not complete the payment within the deadline set by the establishment, the booking is automatically canceled, with a prior warning email.

Advantages of Payment Gateways

✔ Credit card data tokenization

- Securely stores card data for future charges.

✔ Alternative payment methods

- Supports various payment options, including Bizum, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Sofort, and Klarna or Link via Stripe.

Automated Payments in Witbooking (Coming Soon)

We are developing a feature that will allow payments to be automated once the card has been tokenized.

For example, it will be possible to set up automated first and second payments, scheduling them from the Back Office.
