How to modify the lodging units and the type of lodging

In the booking engine, we can choose how many lodging units to display for sale.

If you need to change the lodging units in the booking engine, go to Settings → Behavior and look for the parameter: "Maximum number of rooms in the unit selector."

If the capacity or availability we have is lower than the number entered in this field, the actual availability will always take precedence over the number specified.

How to Change the Lodging Type Name in the Booking Engine Selector?

We can also modify how the options are displayed in the booking engine. Besides "rooms," we can choose other options such as apartments, houses, etc.

To do this, go to:
Inventory → Define Inventory → Accommodation

Select one of the existing lodging options, and when editing it, you can choose one of the following options in the "Accommodation Type" field:

• Rooms
• Apartments
• Bungalows
• Cabins
• Houses
• Ship cabin
• Villas
• Beds
