Deferred payment

Deferred Payment is a payment method that consists of blocking inventory and prices, so that the guest subsequently receives the reservation email pending confirmation and if the guest does not make the payment within the period of time that the property has set (hours, days, etc.), the reservation is self-canceled with a prior warning email.

This is a form of collection that is enabled by our technical department and is free of charge. The configuration of the parameters works in this way:

• Maximum stay (in days).
• Minimum notice (in days).
• Maximum anticipation (in days).
• Condition (rate). You can configure a different rule for each rate, i.e. one for "cg" and another for "ta".
• Auto cancel (in hours). The reservation is automatically cancelled if the customer has not made the payment after the hours configured in the rule.
• Minimum amount.
• Maximum amount.
• Confirmation bis. Associated payment method that will be offered to the customer to make the payment. They must be active collection methods for each of the rates.
• Devices. If the deferred payment is offered to all customers or only when they enter through a "mobile" or "desktop" device.

Here are some examples of rules:

• Deferred payment, activated on mobile at least 48h in advance, and free cancellation condition.
  • Auto-cancel after 24h if no payment is made.
  • Payment method active in conf bis: proxy.
• Deferred payment, activated on desktop at least 2 months in advance and free cancellation condition.
  • Auto-cancels in 15 days if no payment is made.
  • Payment method active in conf bis: pnp
• Deferred payment, activated on all devices if the price is less than 200€ with a minimum of 24h in advance (before check-in) and non-refundable condition.
  • Auto-cancel in 12h if there is no payment.
  • Payment method active in conf bis: tpv, paypal, pnp, proxy.
• Deferred payment, it is activated on all devices if the price is higher than 1000€ at least 15 days in advance and non-refundable condition.
  • Auto-cancel in 7 days if there is no payment.
  • Payment method active on conf bis: tpv
