Bundling - grouping of accommodations

Modified on Wed, 9 Apr at 1:45 PM

As a hotelier I want to offer bundled options to cover with separate accommodations the occupancy selected by the user in the booking form while still offering the available options for the entire selected occupancy.

Examples of Bundles:

Search for 4 adults - Bundles possible:

  • 2x Double room | 2 adults
  • 4x DUI room | 1 adult
  • 2x Deluxe room sea view | 2 adults.

Search for 4 adults + 4 children - Possible bundles:

  • 2x Family Room | 2 adults + 2 children
  • 4x Double Room | 1 adult + 1 child
  • 2x Superior Room | 2 adults + 2 children

Note: Currently, it only allows grouping homogeneous accommodations and occupations (search for 4 adults = 2 x Double Room | 2 adults); by default, everything that can be grouped will be offered

How do I activate bundling in my booking engine?

1- In the back office of the engine I go to Settings > Behavior

2- Additional options for grouped accommodation (e.g. 4 adults = 2 double rooms)

How will it appear in the booking engine?

In this case we would see a search for 4 people (2 adults + 2 children):

1. The booking engine will display available accommodations to cover the entire occupancy selected on the booking form in a single accommodation unit.

2. Additional grouped accommodation options will be displayed to cover the selected occupancy (e.g. 4 adults = 2 double rooms → only if there is sufficient availability to offer the grouped units.

Below each room (as you can see in the attached screenshot) the text clarifying that the price is for N rooms (the units indicated in the package) is indicated followed by the corresponding info for taxes and fees.

The accommodation options are ordered according to the order criteria selected in the engine → ascending price or own order,
