In Witbooking we have our own quotation tool to streamline and facilitate the work of the reservations department or call centers.
In order to access the quotation tool, you have to go to the Back Office to the Reservation Manager > Quotation tool.
Once we access to the quotation tool, we see the following screen:
Within this, the hotel can create more than one different quotation and send as many as it wants to the client, but they will have to be sent individually.
As shown in the image above, we select the establishment, the check in and check out dates (without this information it will not be possible to send the quotation). We also can add a promocode field, change the currency or the language in which the promotion will be sent, or add comments to the quotation.
When we have done this previous configuration is when we can add the information of the reservation, number of people, type of accommodation and units that we want of the accommodation in question.
Once we have made the search, the calculation of the total of the reservation will be automatically generated and we have 4 options:
- Book: we can make a direct reservation for that room, more thoughtful if the quotation is being managed by a call center agent and after having all the prices in view and the customer has decided which room/price he wants to make the direct reservation. The booking engine will open with the search done.
- Duplicate: we will duplicate the quote created
- Send: the quotation will be sent to the customer
- Delete: the generated quotation will be deleted.
If we send the quotation to the customer, you will receive an email like this:
With the direct link to book:
We can identify the reservations made through the quotation engine through the Witbooking reservation list in the origin column with the identifier: quotation.
And the same information will enter the XML as follows:
