My reservation: How to allow the user to access their reservation from the property's website?

In order to allow the user to access their reservation from the property's website, the following must be done:

  1. Build a form on the hotel’s website that allows the user to enter:

    • Reservation ID (format: MXXXXXXX)
    • User email address
  2. This form must generate a URL with the following structure:

    https://engine.witbooking.com/recover-reservation/indicate-here-the-reservation-ID-Mxxxx?email=indicate-here-the-reservation-email

  3. User flow

The customer will receive an email. As long as the redirection link is correctly configured, the user will be redirected to the reservation confirmation screen of the booking engine.

From this screen, they will be able to cancel or modify their reservation, provided these options are enabled in the Backoffice.
