Payment Methods: Nemuru (Installment payment)

Modified on Mon, 24 Feb at 3:54 PM

Nemuru is a financing platform that connects businesses, banks, and consumers. Through this integration, we can offer different entities to finance bookings at a property.

How should it be configured in the engine?

In Settings > Payment Methods, a new option will appear in the dropdown.

There, we can add the new payment method (it can only be added once, no more).

The data we will need are as follows:

  • Agent ID
  • Username
  • Password

These three fields will be provided by Nemuru to the client in order to fill them in with the correct information. The other fields that appear afterwards are the usual ones (advance notice, code, etc.).

How will it appear on the engine's front end?

On checkout, this payment method will appear (as long as we've linked it to a condition), and it will open a modal with the installment payment options. The user will be able to manage the financing with the entity.

On the checkout screen, we will find the "Split Payment" option with the simulator just below:

Once we fill in the guest’s details and click “CONTINUE,” the following screen will appear:

On this screen, everything is locked because the reservation has already been created (in PENDING status). If we decide to change the payment method, the fields will be unlocked.

Finally, by clicking “Continue,” the “Nemuru” modal will appear to choose how to pay in installments. We follow the steps until the payment is made, and the reservation will be confirmed if everything is correct.

General Considerations

a) IMPORTANT: This payment method will ONLY work when the reservation requires a 100% deposit. It does not work with reservations that have no deposit or a partial deposit.

b) Once we click for the first time, the reservation is created in ORANGE – PENDING status. If we complete it and everything is correct, it will turn GREEN – CONFIRMED.

c) When changing the payment method, all fields must be unlocked because a new reservation is generated.

d) The first step of installment payment shows a simulator.
