The booking engine incorporates functionality to display inventory lines on the frontend grouped by occupancy, condition, regime or combination of criteria.

The grouping of lines aims to lighten the list of options offered and facilitates the comparison of the available options by showing the differential per night for each alternative.

The grouping options available are detailed below:

  • Regime grouping:

This configuration consists of grouping lines according to the meal plan offered and will be suitable for booking engines with multiple speeds and conditions.

Grouping lines by this criteria will show the meal plans offered and, by selecting one, the contracting options of the selected scheme will be displayed.

To configure it, go to Settings > Behaviour > Inventory line grouping criteria and select "by pension" in the drop-down menu.

  • Grouping per condition:

This configuration consists on grouping lines according to the conditions offered and will be suitable for booking engines offering multiple speeds and conditions.

Grouping lines by this criteria will display the conditions offered and, by selecting one, the contracting options with the selected condition will be displayed.

To configure it, go to Settings > Behaviour > Inventory line grouping criteria and select "per condition” in the drop-down menu.

  • Grouping per occupancy:

This configuration consists of grouping lines according to the queried occupations and will be suitable for booking engines that offer different options for the same occupation.

Grouping by this criteria will display the occupations in the query and, by selecting, one will display the recruitment options for the selected occupation.

To configure it, go to Settings > Behaviour > Inventory line grouping criteria and select "per occupation” in the drop-down menu.

Finally, it will be possible to group by various criteria by combining the available grouping options.
