Integration with Siteminder

Next, we summarize the steps that must be carried out for the integration of Witbooking with the Siteminder channel manager:

1. In it  Siteminder Dashboard  go to Channels>New channel.

2. Select the Witbooking channel.

3. If the process requires it, enter the currency conversion ratios.

4. If the process requires it, apply the multiplier ratio for this channel.

5. Finish the process and wait for the connectivity between Witbooking and Siteminder to complete.

*Connectivity may take a few days while both parties coordinate with the necessary configurations.

Some conditions to take into account when mapping your inventory lines in Siteminder:

• Witbooking is configured to receive information from master lines. In the event that you want to know information about the daughters/dependent lines, you must map all the lines and we will take care of activating a parameter that will give you information about all your lines.

• The inventory lines that are "Own" in the "rates" variable will be the lines that will be mapped in Siteminder.

• The mapping is done from the Siteminder extranet.

• If you want to make locks from Siteminder, you must keep the lock of the master as your own and then assign the lock of the daughters as “shared”.

• Extra beds must be charged to Witbooking as one more inventory line (ie: 3 adults). The "extras" in Witbooker are passed to Siteminder added to the total of the reservation, so in Siteminder it will not be possible to know which extra corresponds to the amount added to the total price.
