Integration with Siteminder

Next, we summarize the steps that must be taken for the integration of Witbooking with the Siteminder channel manager:

1. In the Siteminder Control Panel  go to Channels > New channel.
2. Select the Witbooking channel.
3. If the process requires it, enter the currency conversion ratios.
4. If the process requires it, apply the multiplier ratio for this channel.
5. Finish the process and wait for connectivity between Witbooking and Siteminder to be completed.
   
   *Connectivity may take a few days while both parties coordinate the necessary configurations. 

Some conditions to consider when mapping your inventory lines in Siteminder:

Witbooking is configured to receive information from master lines. If you want information about child/dependent lines, you must map all lines and we will activate a parameter so that it gives you information about all your lines.

The inventory lines that are marked as "Own" in the "rates" variable will be the lines that will be mapped in Siteminder.

Mapping is done from the Siteminder extranet.

If you want to make blocks from Siteminder, you must keep the master block as own and then assign the child block as "shared".

Extra beds must be added in Witbooking as another inventory line (i.e., 3 adults). Extras in Witbooking are added to the total reservation amount in Siteminder, so Siteminder will not be able to know which extra the amount added to the total price corresponds to. However, it can be seen as an inventory line.
