How to create a supplement / complement

Modified on Thu, 10 Apr at 4:23 PM

To add a complement you must use the Excel tool.

You can download the sheet in: Inventory > Define Inventory > Edit Inventory by Excel.

(It’s important to keep in mind that this supplement will be applied together with the rate per night and not per full stay).

Then you should go to the "Daily rate" column, where, together with the room ticker, you will add its complement, which can be either a numerical or textual value. In the case that the textual value is created, once it is added in the ‘Daily rate’ column and the changes made in the inventory table are correctly saved, this value will automatically appear in Inventory > Management > Show complements to be able to assign it the desired value.

However, we recommend creating them verbatim if it is believed that such a complement will be a variable price over time. Assigning it a numerical value would require changing it line by line for each occupation.

Note: When creating the text value, make sure that the text is the definitive one, because later you will not be able to delete the text that appears in Inventory > Management > Show add-ons, unless you make the request to the Witbooking team through soporte@witbooking.com.
