How to update rates and availability without Channel Manager

To set values for the different inventory lines, you must access Inventory --> Management. 

In this interface, you can consult and modify the values of: 

● Daily rate 

● Availability 

● Blocking 

● CTA (Close to Arrival) 

● CTD (Close to Departure) 

● Minimum stay 

● Maximum stay 

● Minimum advance notice 

● Maximum advance notice

To modify a value, you must activate the “Allow editing” mode, located in the upper right corner below the calendar days, and then locate the indicated box and enter the new value manually. 

To locate the line you want to update, we recommend using the filters at the top of the manager, which allow you to filter results by “Room Types”, “Rates”, “Board Basis”, and “Occupancies”. It also allows you to add or remove restrictions to view, for each line, and sort the lines by rates, board basis, or occupancies. 

Before each search or filter change, we recommend pressing the “Clear filters” button and once the inputs to filter have been selected, select the “Filter”.

The lines to which you can assign a value are those configured as “Own” in the inventory table (Inventory --> Define Inventory --> Inventory Table). 

In this manager, these “own” lines will appear with a white background. On the other hand, “child” lines or those that receive information from other lines in the inventory table (shared lines) will appear in gray and, therefore, their value cannot be modified manually independently, but by updating the parent line, these will also be updated.

To change dates there are two options: 

1. Use the button showing the current date. When pressed, a modal opens where you can change the date by selecting the specific day from a calendar, view recent date searches, or access a specific month.

Use the calendar navigation arrows. One advances the calendar by one day, and the icon with two dates jumps one week. Finally, there is also a button to return to the current day.

PLEASE NOTE:  If your engine is connected to a Channel Manager, we recommend performing all inventory line data updates (except min./max. release)  directly from your Channel Manager, as any updates made manually from the engine will be lost/updated when receiving a push from the Channel Manager (the information received from the channel will always prevail).
